RKS Old Boys Rugby Club (RKSOB) produced a championship performance to defeat Eastern Saints 29–10 and lift the Koroturaga Trophy, completing a memorable campaign with authority.

From the opening whistle, RKSOB played with purpose, intensity, and discipline.

The RKSOB forward pack laid the foundation with powerful carries and dominant defence, while the backs capitalised on every opportunity, turning pressure into points.

Eastern Saints fought bravely and never backed down, but RKSOB's teamwork, composure, and relentless effort proved too much over the full 80 minutes.

Every player contributed to a complete team performance, reflecting the hard work, sacrifice, and preparation that had gone into the season.

This victory is a proud moment for the entire RKSOB family—players, coaches, management, sponsors, supporters, and everyone who stood behind the team throughout the campaign.

After earning their place in the final with a semi-final win over Army Red, RKSOB finished the job in style by claiming the title.

Former RKS U18 player to lead Suva U20 team

The RKS Old Boys Rugby Club proudly congratulates our very own Ratu Samu Loco of Sawakasa, Tailevu, on his selection as Captain of the Suva Under-20 Rugby Team for the upcoming Skipper Cup Tournament.

A former RKS Under-18 Dean's Rugby Team player in 2024 and now an RKSOB Rugby lock, Samu's appointment is a testament to his leadership, dedication, discipline, and commitment to the game.

This achievement reflects the values instilled during his time at Ratu Kadavulevu School and the hard work he continues to put into his rugby journey.

We have every confidence that you will lead the Suva U20 side with pride, integrity, and determination, inspiring your teammates both on and off the field.

The entire RKSOB Club, RKSOSA network, RKS family, and your community in Sawakasa are immensely proud of your achievement and wish you and the Suva U20 team every success throughout the tournament.

Congratulations once again, Samu! Continue to lead by example and make us all proud.
